L.A.'s Synergistic Stadium Renovated
Synergistic Stadium, Los Angeles- The Buckets' home field at the Coliseum in L.A. has been renovated this past off-season in a bid to lure a possible Landry Classic and to host the game in 2006. They fell a few votes short last season and hope the upgrade will sway NSFL voters to have the Championship Game in sunny Tinseltown.

New QB Era For Buckets
Los Angeles- QB Luck Oliver has been announced as the Opening Day
Starter for the 2006 season. He becomes the 4th QB to start for the Buckets since last
season. The 2005 opener had Manuel Norman and he sucked so bad he was benched the rest of
the season and later waived . He now will start for the Mystic Warriors. We wish him well.
QB2 Randy Maitland had a decent 2005 season, going 6-3 but was hurt in Week 7 and was out
for 7 weeks. He had a great Divisional-Round Game in his return from a broken hand in the
big playoff win over Da Bearsss but flopped horribly against the Port City Panthers in the
NFC Championship Game- and has played crappy in preseason scrims. QB3 Bruce Dassler was
the team's savior in 2005 filling in for the injured Maitland in Weeks 8-13 and losing
only one game, to eventual NSFL Champion Charlotte. He will provide emergency Insurance in
case of disaster.
New starter Luck Oliver has never opened a game - but the Training Camp files recently
released have bumped him up past the other QB's in the ratings - so hopefully the Buckets
will now have a strong compliment to Del Thompson and the running game to keep opposing
teams honest.
Buckets Win Opener Over the Rams, 17-6
Synergistic Stadium, Los Angeles- The L.A. Buckets opened the 2006 season with a hard-fought victory over the St. Louis Rams, 17-6. New starting QB Luck Oliver played well in his debut, leading the Offense to 2 TD's in the first half and a FG in the 3rd quarter as the Defense held the Rams to 2 FG's on the night.

2006 Week 1 Pix
Buckets QB Luck Oliver finds WR Perry Tuttle deep for 55 yards all the way to the Ram's 1-yard line! Del Thompson scored later to make it 7-0.
2nd-year RB Robert Lytle scores his first-ever TD on this 17-yards burst outside to make it 14-3 for the Buckets in the 2nd Quarter.
