Play.Log setup help
One aspect of FBPro 98 that allows coaches to get a better idea of how a game goes is the use of the playlog. The playlog not only takes note of what happens during a game but it also gives coaches an idea of what to look for during a game but also gives you play by play. There are two ways to setting a play log, both of which depend on how you play your games. The first method will deal primarily with those who choose to play directly via tcp/ip.
1. Locate your shortcut for FbPro98. If you haven't created a shortcut, just go into the FbPro98 Directory and right click on the hike.exe file and then left click on "create shortcut."

2. Once you've located and/or created your shortcut on the desktop, right click on the shortcut and go down to "properties" and left click on it.

3. Once you've clicked on "properties," you will get a box that look like this. Clock on the "shortcut" tab.

Here you will see the target section. This is the section that we will focus on next because we will need to put some additional information here.
4. Go to the target box and after the Hike.exe, hit your spacebar one time and then type in -l, which is a -L in lowercase letters. If all goes well, it should look something like the image below.

Once you've accomplished that, just click on apply and then click on OK. and you're done. That is how you set up a playlog for FbPro98 when playing via direct tcp/ip. This will also log any log games that you might play against the computer in league and/or exhibition mode.
Note:You will be looking for any files named "play" in the FbPro98 directory. These are the generic names for the playlogs that the game creates. You can read it using notepad or any other program. It's best to rename them after your gamexxyy file so that there will be a corrolation. All teams are required to keep logs.
It is also possible for Kali to create a playlog for you. However, you will need to accomplish this through Kali itself. This portion of the log setup is under the impression that you have already setup FbPro98 in Kali. If you haven't setup FbPro98 for Kali then go to the Kali Setup link. However, if you have setup Kali, then you'll do the following.
1.Once you've gone to your "my games" folder and found FbPro98, you need to highlight it and from there click on the Games menu at the top and go down to Configure as the image below shows.
2.Once you're there, you will see a box for Game Settings, that will look like the one below. The line that you will specifically be looking for is the one listed as Cmd Line Args. Click on the "More" box to open the Command Line Arguments box.
3.You will need to go down to those 3 lines and type in a "-l" (which is a dash and a lowercase L) in each one. Next hit OK and that will force FbPro98 to produce a play log when you play via Kali.
