RB Pitch play

Illegal pitch: the QB tosses the "lateral" on a pitch play and the RB catches the ball from behind as he goes by- ussually a few yards upfield.

The rule on this play is:

R2. If the RB\FB receives a pitch outside the box, he must be in-line with the QB. In other words he cannot be in front of the QB when he receives the pitch.

To fix this add a delay to the RB so he does not receive the ball after he crosses the lateral plane of the pitch. It just isn't reallistic to have the guy a few yards past the LOS before he even catches it.
