Buckets Win Home Opener 41-18 Over Steel City Interim Coach Ron B.

It was all Buckets ( 2-0 ) in the first half taking a 41-0 lead and all Steel City Stormriders ( 0-2 ) in the second half as interim coach Ron B. stormed back with 18 unanswered points to make it s slightly more respectable 41-18 victory for L.A."Turnovers absolutely killed them in that first half and we benefitted greatly from them," Buckets coach Jay T. said. "They turned it around well in the second half and showed they can play."
The game was so lop-sided early that L.A. put in the backups in the 2nd quarter and that is when the home-field love stopped and all of the momentum swung to sit-in Ron B.'s visiting Steel City squad. Storm Rider QB Charlie Jones finished 32 of 58 for 332 yards and 2 TD's but more impressively converted 6 of 10 on 4th down as well as several clutch 3rd and long completeions to keep the chains moving.
