Buckets Hang On For A Wicked 51-43 Win In Thriller
Stuttgart-
Buck's Stuttgart Stallions ( 0-3 ) sure came to play. At least their Offense did- putting up 43 points and 489 yards with most of those coming in the air. But it wasn't enough as the L.A. Buckets ( 3-0 ) took advantage of several failed 4th down attempts by Stuttgart and escaped with a 51-43 win."We should put the 4th down punt rule back in just for Buck!" Los Angeles coach Jay T. said. "If he played a little more conservative and gave his Defense better field position he would definitely be pulling some of these games out with that potent passing attack he has!"
L.A. seemingly had the game in hand with a 44-27 lead with just 2:37 left in the game but Stuttgart rallied big time with a 42-yard TD scramble by QB Danny Burnette as well as a TD pass and 2-point conversion to cut it to 43-51 in the closing moments. The Buckets were then forced to punt and with 10 seconds left on the clock the Stallions at their own 20 yard line had one last chance to tie it up but were sacked to end the game.
GREAT GAME Stuttgart Stallions coach Buck!
Cheers,
Jay
